Welcome! We are so excited to meet you and our incoming students. Our Kindergarten teachers, Ms. Clay, Mrs. McKinlay, and Mrs. Nizer want you to know that it’s great to be a Kinder Grizzly and they’re looking forward to seeing our future students soon!

Please note: Kindergarten at Oregon City School District is a full day of school.

Incoming Kindergarten parents and guardians are invited to attend our Kinder Connect zoom informational meeting on Tuesday, February 20th at 6:00pm. An in-person open house for families and soon-to-be kindergarteners will be on April 30 at 5:00-6:30. Please tell your friends and neighbors that it's time to start registering for Kindergarten so they get all the communication about these opportunities.

Registration Information:

For Kindergarten: Will your child be 5 years old before or on September 1, 2024?  If so, they will enter Kindergarten.

For First Grade:  Will your child be 6 years old before or on September 1, 2024?  If so, they will enter first grade.

Registration for the 2024-25 school year will be available starting February 20, 2024.  The following forms are necessary for entrance into kindergarten: 

• Completed and signed Certificate of Immunization or parent vaccine education certificate 

• Completed and signed Proof of Residence with documentation *two pieces of documentation

• Copy of your child’s birth certificate 

• Completion of Oregon City School District Online Registration 

• Dental screening certificate

Families must submit the above paperwork in order for your child to start on their first day of school. These forms can be received either online via ParentVue, or via email to our office secretary, Shelley Gardner (Shelley.Gardner@orecity.k12.or.us).
